Lens Politica festival celebrates its 5th Anniversary on 3–7 November 2010
This year, the festival for political cinema and art, Lens Politica, will be held for the fifth time. Since 2005, the festival has grown yearly and found its place in the culture scene of Helsinki. The snappy 5-year-old introduces interesting artists and film-makers and aims to arouse discussion about current political themes.
The 5th Anniversary Festival’s opening screening and club is held at Korjaamo Culture Factory on 3 November. In addition to films and art exhibitions, the festival programme offers plenty of other interesting activities as well, including panel discussions, workshops, and clubs. The themes of the 5th Anniversary Festival include nationality in art and young creators.
